Interview with Democrat Sheriff candidate Wayne Smith

Wayne Smith, running on the Democratic ticket for Bastrop County Sheriff, talks to Bastrop Builder about the issues facing Bastrop County in crime and law enforcement. Wayne is a Viet Nam vet with a strong business background. He worked as a Special Agent for the US Embassy in Thailand and served locally as a Justice of the Peace.

Wayne would increase drug enforcement in Bastrop County, would improve morale in the Sheriffs Department, and promote better rapport between the public and the Sheriffs Department.

Nice pass from Colt McCoy #12 to Jordan Shipley #8 in the corner to cap a 5 minute drive. I thought it was Sweed at first. I think Sweed distracted the defense. This kid is not acting like a freshman.
